Assistant Director, Scheduling and Event Services


As a key member of the Division of Institutional Advancement at Rollins College, the Assistant Director of Scheduling and Events is responsible for Event Management System (EMS) scheduling and administrative functions. Key areas of focus include EMS maintenance, installations and trainings; daily event coordination; hiring, training and overseeing summer event staff; on-site coordination and execution of sponsored events held at the Cornell Fine Arts Museum and other locations; and updating EMS reservations.


 Qualifications:


  •          Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  •          4+ years of experience in planning, coordinating and managing events and meetings
  •          Knowledge of a college or university environment
  •          Availability to work overtime, evenings and weekends as needed
  •          Proficiency in MS Office, as well as web design, Publisher, Photoshop and data/software integration
  •          Knowledge of Event Management System (EMS)
  •          Ability to maintain, update and analyze files and records with a high degree of accuracy
