National trade association is looking to hire a Meetings Registrar\Assistant to manage the registration process for its financial symposia, private capital conference, Congressional Call-Up, Golf Tournament, Poker Tournament, Sporting Clays Tournament and two semi-annual membership meetings as well as other monthly luncheons, meetings and internal programs (all ranging in size from 100 to 1100 attendees).
Duties include: managing meetings database, programming online registration, serving as primary response line for the department, processing conference registrations using Protech's CRM4M database, processing credit approval verification and issuing refunds, maintaining inventory of all departmental\conference supplies, managing onsite registration and supporting the Vice President of Meetings and department staff as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (but not required) with past experience in computer\database\data-entry work; an ability to accurately resolve financial discrepancies; ensure timely and accurate processing of all conference registrations; be proficient in Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook); travel to meetings and events to manage on-site registration desk (approx. 26 days per year); be personable\presentable and customer service oriented and have the desire to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
The position is heavily focused on the database and providing efficient, kind customer service to executive level industry leaders.
