The Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) is the largest hotel owners association in the world. AAHOA members own almost half of all U.S. hotels. With billions of dollars in property assets and hundreds of thousands of employees, AAHOA members are core economic contributors in virtually every community in the United States. As an association, AAHOA is a proud defender of free enterprise and a leading example of the ongoing realization of the American Dream.
In 2016, AAHOA celebrated its 27th anniversary and is currently one of hospitality industry’s most respected and influential organizations. AAHOA represents more than 15,000 members nationwide, who own more than 20,000 properties, amounting to more than 40% of all hotels in the United States. AAHOA members employ over 600,000 American workers, and account for nearly $10 billion in payroll annually.
