Company Overview
The Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority was established in 1959 as the Washoe County Fair and Recreation Board. The RSCVA acts as a marketing organization for the county to promote convention and tourism business.
Unlike other convention and visitor bureaus across the country, the RSCVA owns and operates several facilities designed to draw out-of-town visitors.
The RSCVA employs approximately 300 people at a variety of facilities located throughout Reno, Tahoe, Sparks and Washoe County, including the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, National Bowling Stadium, Reno Events Center, Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center and the Wildcreek Golf Course!
