Founded in 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, ACOG has over 52,000 members and is the nation's leading group of professionals providing health care for women. Now based in Washington, DC, it is a private, voluntary, nonprofit membership organization.

• Long-Term Disability - (Monthly premium 100% paid by employer) Must complete 90 days of continuous
employment.
• Paid Holidays - New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday, President’s Day, Memorial Day,
Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday following
Thanksgiving Day, and two days for the Christmas holiday.
• Paid Sick Leave - 3 hours accrued per pay period (Leave is prorated for part-time employees).
• Paid Vacation - 3 hours accrued per pay period (Leave is prorated for part-time employees).
• Personal Business Days - 14 hours of paid leave (7 hours during 1st year of employment). Must use each
calendar year, does not carryover to the next year.
• Public Transportation - Eligible employees receive a public transportation subsidy, from the college of a
maximum $50. An additional transportation benefit (up to $70) may be purchased with pre-tax earnings.
A Payroll deduction required.
• Short-Term Disability - Provides 50% of salary for up to 3 months after available leave has been used.
Employee must complete one year of employment prior to the qualifying event in order to be eligible.
• Travel Insurance - Covers employees traveling on official business for the College. See enrollment form for
more information. (100% paid by employer)
• Tuition Reimbursement - $3,500 allowed per year for each employee for registration fees only.
Must be an ACOG employee for one year to be eligible.
• Other plans available upon request including legal resources, identity theft protection, and additional life insurance
