The Women's Foodservice Forum engages the foodservice industry to develop leadership talent and ensure career advancement for executive women.

The WFF was formed in 1989 by a group of women in the foodservice industry who saw a need to make sure women were given the chance and the resources to succeed. Since then, our membership has grown to more than 2,200 members. All segments of the industry are reflected in the membership, including restaurant operations, manufacturing, distribution, publishing and consulting.

Since its inception, WFF has made important differences in the personal and professional lives of individual members and the foodservice industry at large. Through highly beneficial workshops at the Annual Leadership conference, keynote speakers, Regional Connect events and mentoring, WFF provides members with the tools needed to make a positive difference in their careers.

Company History

Background - The WFF was formed in 1989 by Restaurant Business magazine. The magazine gathered a group of 12 women in the foodservice industry who saw a need to make sure women were given the opportunity and the resources to succeed. Since then, membership has grown to more than 3,000 members. All segments of the industry are reflected in the membership, including restaurant operators, manufacturing/suppliers, distribution, publishing, education and consulting.
Since its inception, WFF has made important differences in the personal and professional lives of individual members and the foodservice industry at large.

Our Annual Leadership Development conference is our cornerstone event each year where, through specialized workshops and keynote speakers we strive to meet the personal and career development needs of our members. Other signature programs include the Executive Women’s Summit, Regional Connect events and emerging leader mentoring programs. The WFF provides members with the tools needed to make a positive difference in their careers.
